The Strong, Striking Grass Your Garden Needs

The Miscanthus Bandwidth, also known as Chinese Silver Grass, is a low-maintenance, perennial dwarf grass that serves as the perfect companion plant in rock gardens, mixed flower beds, patio pots, and more!

This ornamental grass is sought after for its unique, gold bands that adorn green leaf blades, making it stand out in gardens of all types. Enjoy golden brown plumes covering the foliage in fall and continuing into winter for constant textural interest and appeal.

What's more is that Miscanthus Bandwidth is ideal for dryer areas because it's resilient, rust-resistant, and a strong grower in a variety of conditions. It's tough and durable, and will grow in poor soils where nothing else will.

Add this stunning ornamental grass to your lineup and watch its unique and care-free display. Your very own Miscanthus Bandwidth is waiting for you!

Note: If you purchase this grass in fall-winter, it may be cut back for the plant’s health. If your grass is cut back, don’t worry - it will grow even happier and healthier next spring!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Plant in an area with full sun (6-8 hours of sunlight per day). Select a location with well-drained soil and dig a hole that's large enough to accommodate your plant's root ball.

After you've planted, mulch the surrounding area and water to settle the roots.

2. Watering: Water weekly, or more often in extreme heat or drought. If you plant your grass in containers, you'll also want to water more frequently. Check the soil and water when soil is dry to the touch two inches down.

3. Pruning: Prune your grass down to the ground in late winter, just before new growth appears.
