Prolifically Purple, Laid Back Lantana
This flowering, perennial groundcover is a standout, low-maintenance addition to your garden, patio, or landscape. The Purple Lantana is a fast-growing, vine-like plant that covers your landscape or cascades over containers with effortless, lavender clusters.
Producing fragrant, purple colored flowers from early summer through fall, its blooms hold onto the plant until the cold weather arrives late in the season for long-lasting color and interest. Plus, it attracts pollinators like butterflies and bees, and its deep green leaves are coarse in texture and slightly hairy, protecting against undesirable pests.
The Purple Lantana is an easygoing, drought tolerant and quick-growing groundcover, so you can plant it up and watch it thrive. Its lower branches are woody to provide ample support, while its upper branches are more vibrant and vine-like, making it charming for planting in a multitude of places.
In a container, the Purple Lantana will spill over the edge like an enchanting lavender waterfall, and in rock gardens or along curbs and slopes, it'll cascade with color and prevent soil erosion. Alternatively, it'll thrive as a groundcover, filling empty spaces with lush greenery and abundant blooms.
No matter the style of your garden, from rustic to cottage or tropical, the Purple Lantana will blanket your landscape with charming texture and nonstop color.
Snag your Purple Lantana today, and watch it bring your garden to life!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Lantana in full sun. Allow enough open air access for pollinators to find it and get to it. If planting in the ground, space approximately 16 inches apart.
Hardy to any soil type, your Lantana can even be planted in an urban environment. It would do well in a container pot, hanging basket, or even along a curb or walkway.
2. Watering: This Lantana is drought tolerant and doesn't require excessive watering. Watch for any standing water, as this can damage the plant.
3. Pruning: This Lantana requires minimal pruning. Simply remove any dead growth as needed.
4. Fertilizing: Fertilizing is not required, but can be done if desired.

The Lantana arrived very nicely
The Lantana arrived very nicely packed, but so dry because of the July heat, that it took more than a week of watering and babying to get the plants happy enough to revive. Can't plant in the south in the summer. They now look hopeful.
