Beginning in spring, the Yellow Twig Dogwood's stalks turn from bright yellow to deep green with the budding of new foliage. Stalks and leaves will remain an elegant emerald green through summer and provide a vivid backdrop for the gorgeous white star-shaped flowers that appear.
