Massive Magnolia Flowers and Evergreen Foliage
Want to make your yard the talk of the neighborhood? The Edith Bogue Magnolia is a fast-growing, four-season tree that will give you lots of beauty with very little maintenance.
The Edith Bogue Magnolia produces lemon-scented, 12-inch flowers that bloom from the spring to mid summer. These cone-shaped flowers attract hummingbirds and butterflies that will help pollinate your other plants. And once the flowers fall off, you'll still be left with dark emerald leaves with unique bronze undersides.
Not only does this tree provide key interest in the warmer months, it also steals the spotlight in the colder months. During the winter, the Edith Bogue Magnolia produces seed pods that attract songbirds while its evergreen foliage offers refuge to local wildlife. Plus, its naturally narrow form makes this tree perfect for medium-to-small spaces.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Edith Bogue Magnolia in a location that receives full sun to partial shade. When choosing a location, it is important to choose a spot that has even moisture in the soil and is not susceptible to flooding. To plant, dig a hole that is twice as large and just as deep as the shipping pot. Place the tree in the hole and fill the dirt back in, tamping gently to eliminate any air pockets. Add 2 inches of mulch to the top of the soil.
2. Watering: Water immediately after planting and continue to water frequently (2-3 times a week) until well established, approximately 6 months after placement.

My magnolia arrived well packed and in good condition. However, it was light and spindly. Another year at the nursery would have improved it.
