Produces a Large Harvest of Tart Cherries Every Year!
Blazing Red Cherries and Modest Ivory Flowers
You will see a flurry of white blooms in the spring, followed by a large harvest of cherries. The best time to pick and eat your fruit is when the sugar count is the highest. When this happens, your cherries will turn blazing red, which means the glucose levels are at their peak, and this is when you will get the most flavor.
Cooking
The problem with store-bought fruit is they only pick what can withstand shipping. What this means is, they pick the fruit that isn't fully ripened yet. If you've ever wondered why some of your fruit tastes amazing and some of them taste awful, this is why. You'll never have to play the guessing game again when it comes to your Montmorency Cherry Tree. Your cherries will fall off the stem once they've ripened, and usually, produce about 31 pounds of cherries annually.
Check out our Montmorency Cherry Trees! Order them quickly, because our stock is getting low!

I love cherries!
The tree arrived in good condition and seems to have survived transplanting ok. Now we wait. An additional note: when the tree arrived, it had been transplanted into a bed about 5 - 6 inches above the root flare - too deep. I think it was there about a year because there were a lot of fine little roots to get through before getting to the root flare.
Let's wait to see how
Let's wait to see how the pies turn out....very nice looking trees, but as we know nice looking trees don't always make good pies......the pies will be the tell all.
