Hardy, Delightful, Double-Colored Peony
From fuschia-pink to creamy, shell-white, your garden will be a colorful utopia with the Mr. Ed Peony! This flower changes colors throughout the growing season, but its green foliage offers year-round beauty when it’s not in bloom. Plus, it exudes a delightful fragrance you’re going to love!
Mr. Ed has a dome flower form with densely packed, small petals, making it a classic, elegant addition to any home or garden space. Plant it alongside other flowers, as a border, or as a statement shrub and watch it flourish.
Then, cut some flowers to create homemade bouquets to bring indoors! Between its light scent and sturdy stems, Mr. Ed makes the perfect cut flower to place in your home or gift to others. It also lasts well when cut and is one of the first peonies to bloom each season.
And if you live in a slightly colder area, don't worry! The Mr. Ed Peony thrives in some of the northern-most regions and is relatively cold-hardy with the right care. Just plant it somewhere it can receive full sunlight in well-draining soil.
Another bonus to this plant? It’s not bothered by most pests and diseases, and deer and rabbits don’t eat it! Talk about a win-win.
Ready to add this exceptional variety to your home? Order your own Mr. Ed Peony and watch it bring your landscape to life!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant where it can receive full sun, although some partial shade is tolerated in the south and warmest areas of the west. Plant so that the buds at the top of the roots are pointing up. Cover with 1-2 inches of soil if you’re in the north, no more than one inch if you’re in the south.
2. Watering: Ensure moderate moisture and well-draining soil, about an inch of water per week throughout the growing season.
3. Fertilizing: An annual side-dressing of one inch of compost or aged manure will help this plant’s growth. No other fertilization is needed.
4. Pruning: Deadhead after flowering and cut back to the ground in winter after the first frost to encourage energy for next year.

On time delivery. Beautiful plant.
The gift arrived in proper time frame. Was a little wilted by the delivery. (Expected) it is doing well now even though it's kind of warm here
