A Clematis Variety That Blooms on New Wood

Blue-purple blooms in a classic, easy-growing package elevate the New Love Clematis Shrub. But this perennial is even better than the timeless vine you love – it forms a bushy, upright silhouette that’s self-supporting, perfect for elevating plant beds and beyond.

Basically, it’s super versatile. Star-shaped, indigo-hued florals dance up the non-climbing masses of foliage and growth on the New Love. And the petals emerge and then curl back into a unique look, blooming from late spring to summer and again in the early fall.

Plus, its sweet fragrance attracts graceful wildlife, like bees and hummingbirds. And since it blooms on new wood, unlike many other Clematis varieties, you won't have to spend time pruning or trimming to get results.

But the best part is that it combines the best of both worlds. With good looks and easygoing benefits, the New Love makes a statement. Especially since we’ve planted, grown and nurtured each New Love Clematis Shrub before it leaves our nursery. Now, when it arrives at your door, it arrives with healthy, well-developed roots and a head start on growth…so, no green thumb is no problem.

Add a splash of redefined, elegant color to your garden. Order your New Love Clematis Shrub today!

    Fantastic customer service!

I ordered New Love Clematis shrubs but received Love Hydragias. Called customer service and the Clematis shrubs were in the mail the same day at no extra charge. Even though they are fragile plants, they arrived in great shape. Wonderful dealing with you!

Deer liked them more than me.

Looked good on arrival and one was budded. I was disappointed that the flowers were not as large as the picture made them appear. Also no fragrance detected. That being said, they filled up the space intended and I was awaiting further growth. Unfortunately the deer that hang around here took a liking to them and gave them a good "haircut" They are not dead but pretty putrid looking. I will wait to see how and if they recover for further comment.

Brighter Blooms Plant ExpertWe're so sorry the deer are eating your plants! A deer repellent may be a good solution or shredding some irish spring soap around your plants also works!

    Thrilled

I was very pleased with the 3 lovely shrub plants that arrived looking healthy and full. After a couple weeks - during which they actually bloomed - I transplanted them into the larger pots (picture) to await fall planting.
