Durable Evergreen Groundcover for a Pop of Color
Native to Western Australia, the Outback Sunrise Emu has since become a durable groundcover ideal for rock gardens and desert accents across the world.
Watch this unique variety extend out to 12 feet wide and sprout tubular yellow flowers throughout the spring and summer. Not only will your Outback Sunrise Emu thrive in the sun, but it also performs well in shady spots, making it the perfect choice for open spaces in your yard!
The best part? Our Outback Sunrise Emu plant is drought-resistant once established and grows quickly - with very little maintenance on your end. It also has a high tolerance for salt and alkaline conditions - meaning planting near the coast shouldn’t be a problem.

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Outback Sunrise Emu in full sun or part sun in well-drained soil. Dig a hole that is 2-3 times wider and the same depth as the container the plant was shipped in. Remove the plant from the shipping container, loosen the roots gently with your fingers, and then place it in the hole. Gently backfill the dirt and water immediately.
2. Watering: Continue to water the plant regularly until it is well established. This plant is drought tolerant and will still thrive without frequent irrigation. But for best results, water occasionally to maintain spread.
