A Burst of Tropical Flair
The Red Tropical Hibiscus Tree brings bursts of dramatic blooms to your landscape from July to October. The flowers have red petals with deeper red centers that make beautiful centerpieces.
This makes a vibrant patio plant, and can grow anywhere in the country when potted in a container. For bigger blooms, cut the branches back by 1/3 in the late spring. Hummingbirds and butterflies flock to these brilliant blooms, making a magnificent scene in any garden.
Low Maintenance and Easy-to-Grow
This fast-growing, adaptable dwarf tree thrives in full sun and needs regular, weekly watering when first planted. Expect to water bi-weekly in extreme heat. Once established the Red Tropical Hibiscus is quite drought-tolerant, disease-resistant, and grows best in well-draining soil.
It can grow up to 6-8 feet high and needs about 3 feet of space to spread if planted in groups.
Livens Up Small Spaces and Much, Much More
The Red Tropical Hibiscus Tree adds interest to any space you choose- even those small planters on your patio. Use as a hedge or as a border along your driveway. Whether as a standalone tree making that small corner in your yard lovely, or in a group highlighting your favorite flower bed, the Red Tropical Hibiscus Tree makes an impact anywhere you plant it. Grows great in the ground in zones 8-11, but grows in zones 4-11 as a patio plant!

Granted, this photo was taken several months after my hibiscus tree arrived in the mail, but wow, after it got settled, what a show it’s started giving! Thank you!
One and a half years later and it just keeps getting better!
If you don't have a tropical hibiscus you need one! These flowers are awesome. Every day is different. I bought this one last year and kept him inside for the winter. You will really enjoy these blooms and it takes minimal effort!
