Delicate Pink Peony Steals the Show!
If you envision a picture-perfect, French countryside for your backyard, the Sarah Bernhardt Peony will instantly bring that to life! This large peony boasts delicate, pink petals ringed with darker pink around the edges, adding whimsical romance wherever you plant it!
The Sarah Bernhardt Peony was named after Sarah Bernhardt, a French theater actress, and it’s easy to see why. Each flower offers bold, densely-packed petals and a light fragrance. Either as part of your garden or cut and brought inside, these blooms add class and sophistication. It’s no wonder this variety has been a favorite for over a century!
Growing only two to three feet tall and wide and blooming from late spring to early summer, this compact peony is versatile for many garden spaces. Plant it among other peonies for constant blooms, place it along borders and entryways or use it as a focal point. Then, cut a few flowers to bring indoors for elegant arrangements!
The Sarah Bernhardt is a low-maintenance peony that grows quickly with little upkeep. You don’t even have to pay much attention to pests or diseases - in true French countryside fashion, this flower only attracts butterflies!
What could be more desirable than a light pink peony? Order your Sarah Bernhardt Peony today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant where it can receive full sun, although some partial shade is tolerated in the south and warmest areas of the west. Plant so that the buds at the top of the roots are pointing up. Cover with 1-2 inches of soil if you’re in the north, no more than one inch if you’re in the south.
2. Watering: Ensure moderate moisture and well-draining soil, about an inch of water per week throughout the growing season.
3. Fertilizing: An annual side-dressing of one inch of compost or aged manure will help this plant’s growth. No other fertilization is needed.
4. Pruning: Deadhead after flowering and cut back to the ground in winter after the first frost to encourage energy for next year.

I was told by the website that it was in stock when I purchased it. I was told that it would be shipped two to three days. I didn't get an email confirmation but the money was taken out of my account. When I had called about it because I didn't get an email saying my item went shipped they said it would be shipped in a week after it already said it would be shipped two to three days after ordering it. A week went by and I called again a lady on the phone said it would be on its way in 2 to 3 days. Two weeks went by and I called again and the guy on the phone said it wouldn't be shipped in another 8 days. 8 days went by and it still hasn't been shipped or even on its way. I'll never purchase from this website ever again this is ridiculous.
