Semi-Double Blooms Offer Easy Color and Fragrance

Looking to bring vibrant color and delightful fragrance to your garden this year? The Scent First® Tickled Pink Dianthus will do just that! Bred to maximize color and fragrance, this Dianthus is perfect for any yardscape.

With long-lasting, semi-double blooms from summer to fall, this plant is ideal for adding a pop of color to every space, from garden beds and patio containers to window boxes or borders. Plus, its spiky, silver-blue foliage looks good year-round as an added bonus.

Another perk? Your Dianthus will attract butterflies and hummingbirds with its sweet and spicy, clove-like fragrance. It’s also cold and drought tolerant, as well as resistant to pesky deer and rabbits - a great pick for low-maintenance beauty!

These are selling quickly, so be sure to order your Scent First® Tickled Pink Dianthus, today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: Your Dianthus will perform best in full sun. Find a spot with well-drained soil and 6 to 8 hours of sunlight per day.

Plant your flowers in a hole twice as wide but as deep as the root ball. Water immediately to establish roots. For best results, add a 3-inch layer of mulch to prevent weeds.

If you're planting in a container, select a pot that's about twice the size of your plant's shipped container, and use organic soil. Place your Dianthus, water to settle its roots, and find a sunny spot on your porch or patio.

2. Watering: Water weekly, or check the surrounding soil. When the soil is dry about 3 inches down, it's time to water. If your Dianthus is container-planted, water until you see it flowing from the drainage holes at the bottom.
