Planting & Care:
Planting: Plant the Tifblue Blueberry in well-draining, acidic soil and full sun. Dig a hole that is twice as large as the plant's root system, and as deep. Set the plant’s root ball into the hole and fill it with soil.
Press the soil down around the plant’s roots to firm and remove all air pockets. Finally, apply a 3-inch layer of mulch around the bush to inhibit unwanted weed growth and keep the soil moist.
To grow your Tifblue Blueberry in a container, plant in a pot that is twice as large as the plant’s root ball. The pot should have adequate drainage holes in the base to allow the water to drain from the soil. Fill the container with three inches of potting soil, place the root ball into the pot, and firm the soil around the plant’s roots.
Watering: Water your Tifblue at least once per week to keep the soil moist, or check the soil about 2 inches down for dryness.
Fertilizing: Fertilize with an acidic fertilizer, and follow the directions on the fertilizer’s label for application ratios.
Pruning: For best fruiting, prune the oldest, lower branches on your Tifblue Blueberry Bush in late winter.
Pollination: Since the Tifblue Blueberry is not self-pollinating, you'll need another Blueberry variety to get fruit.

Great!
Quick shipping, got them almost before the bed was ready! Looking forward to a great crop- eventually!
Blueberries for Season
Arrived promptly and in good condition. Planted but can't determine quality of product until Spring timeframe.
Root bound
I ordered 2 different blueberry plants. Both of them were extremely root bound. I had planned to “winter” them over in their original pots. After 2 days, they were dying. At that time repotting became mandatory. After repotting both plants, they appear to be recovering nicely. I anticipate that they shall recover and do great.
Tifblue Blueberry Plants
Quick turnaround; plants a bit beat up during shipping, but trimmer and planted on their arrival. We’ll see how they do.
Disappointed
I was very excited to receive these as this is my first order from this company & this variety was highly recommended by Texas A&M for the Houston area. However when I received the product a lot of the lower branches had a lot of die-back in addition to what looks like horrible pruning practices (main branches are crossing which will cause future problems). If you can i'd recommend buying from a local nursery instead.
