No-Maintenance, Flowering Succulent
This unique, flowering succulent has a lot to offer, with very little maintenance. If you’re looking for a succulent with all-season color that thrives even when ignored, the Twin Flower Agave is the perfect choice.!
The Twin Flower Agave is a compact plant that grows up to 3 feet in height and width. It’s the ideal size for any landscape, and even patios. This succulent brings a southwestern vibe to your space in containers, mass plantings, or rock gardens. Plant in the foreground of your space to accent taller plants, or fill in gaps to complete your space.
The sharply angled foliage gives the Twin Flower the signature look of an Agave plant. As this Agave matures, it will produce long, smooth stems that flowers bloom from. Tiny yellow blooms grow in masses, adding color to even the hottest, driest landscapes.
The Twin Flower Agave was made for the no-maintenance gardener. It flourishes even when neglected in deserts and coastal regions, and only requires watering during extreme heat. Plus, with no pruning required, you’ll be able to plant your Twin Flower Agave and nearly forget about it.

Planting & Care
Planting: Plant your Twin Flower Agave in an area with full sun and well-drained soil. It’s important that the location you choose gets 6-8 hours of direct sunlight per day.
To plant, dig a hole that is two times the size of the plant’s root ball and around the same depth. Place the plant in the hole and backfill the dirt. Immediately water to settle the soil.
If you’re planting in a container, choose organic, well-drained soil and make sure the container has drainage holes. Select a container that is around 2 times the container the plant was shipped in. Tip - add sand to organic soil to help it drain better.
Watering: Although your Twin Flower Agave can thrive in drought conditions, it will need to be water while the roots establish. During this time, water to ensure the soil is moist 2-3 inches down. Once established, you may reduce the frequency of watering.
Pruning: The Twin Flower Agaves grows slowly and requires no pruning. It will grow beautifully into its natural shape!
