Bring the Beach Vibes Inside
The Variegated Dwarf Umbrella Tree, also known as the Schefflera Trinette, is a tropical gem for any indoor space. With its big green leaves streaked in yellow and cream, this little tree is sure to please.
Depending on where you live, this plant could be a great addition indoors or out. The Schefflera Trinette makes a statement as a house plant, around patios, or planted as a shrub in warmer climates (growing zones 9-11).
The Variegated Dwarf Umbrella Tree is low maintenance and will offer year-round, multicolored foliage (meaning it's evergreen!). All it needs is light and enough water to keep the soil moist.
As its name describes, the Variegated Umbrella Tree's grows upwards and outwards like an umbrella. Some lucky Schefflera owners may even see their tree occasionally flower with long scarlet spikes!
The electrifying effect of yellow and white variegation adds color and dimension to sunny indoor corners and green garden beds alike. Plus, they're not too difficult to keep alive.
For unique, tropical appeal (and a natural air filter), the Variegated Dwarf Umbrella Tree is your choice pick. Order yours today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: During the winter months, the Dwarf Umbrella enjoys bright light. As for spring and summer, it does well with indirect light and a bit of dappled shade. However, the Umbrella Plant prefers warm temperatures, so be sure to keep it away from drafty areas.
When you're repotting or planting your Umbrella, select a container that's twice the width of the shipped container and one that has drainage holes.
You can also plant your Umbrella Tree outside as a landscape shrub in warmer climates - they're extremely popular for this use in Florida!
2. Watering: Water your Schefflera lightly, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy. A good rule of thumb to keep in mind: Put your finger in the soil to check its level of moisture. There is no need to water your Dwarf Umbrella until you have a full inch of dryness starting from the top of the soil.
