Fountain-Like Plant With Striped Foliage

Strong, low-maintenance, and modern, the Zebra Plant is a favorite of the bromeliad family. This house plant comes pre-potted for easy gifting—pick the best fit for your aesthetic with a wood or jute container.

Whether its for you or a loved one, our potted Zebra Plant is ideal for anyone without much time on their hands. The sturdy, variegated foliage will thrive with the occasional watering. And as long as it gets enough indirect light, the plant's fountain-like leaves will keep growing strong.

Some Zebra Plants can bloom with what's called a "Flaming Sword." With the right care, a spiked, orange-red flower can sometimes emerge from the plant's center and rise above the leaves, appearing—you guessed it—like a sword!

Keep it inside or place it on a shaded patio, the potted Zebra Plant will bring exotic charm to any space it's in. Choose between the wood or jute pot, and get this low-effort house plant before we run out!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: No planting required - simply unbox your Zebra Plant and place it in an area with bright, indirect light (behind curtains or blinds is ideal). If you place it on the patio, make sure it's in a shady spot so the sun won't burn its leaves. We also recommend exposing your Zebra Plant to sunlight gradually, over a period of several weeks, to ensure that it acclimates well to its new environment.

2. Watering: Water your Zebra when the soil is dry about 2 inches down. Avoid overwatering, because too much moisture in the soil can cause root rot.
