Easy Care/ plant Experts need work
My first time growing Scuppernongs! My grandmother use to have them in her yard and wanted to create the feeling of “ being home at Grandmas”. I called before ordering to get information from experts and wasn’t really successful. I wanted to know; what type of planter /container the plant was coming in, type/size of trellis to purchase and care for plant. Expert stated not much experience with Scuppernong and that the plant would come in a 2 gallon container and no trellis or bamboo stake, it would indicate that in description. I was still confused was it a container filled with soil and buds or planter. My end goal was to prepare to receive the plant before it landed on my doorstep. Solution; i just turned to YouTube and learned about the types and container vs in ground. It was disappointing to hear lack of information but nonetheless i love the plant and excited to watch it grow and produce. FYI- the scuppernong comes in a 2 gallon planter with a bamboo stake to stabilize vines and have them grow upright and then finally out horizontally, “T” formation. It’s growing like crazy only after a month.
