Fragrant, Compact Hedging Magnolia
Get a fragrant, prolifically blooming evergreen tree with the Kay Parris Magnolia, a cross between ‘Bracken’s Brown Beauty’ and ‘Little Gem.’ This lovely combination produces a compact plant that works well, even in small landscapes.
The compact form of the Magnolia 'Kay Parris' makes this tree ideal for hedges or privacy screens. Unlike non-flowering evergreen plants traditionally used for privacy screens, this magnolia offers bright white blooms.
The Kay Parris Magnolia's flowers will continue to bloom from June to September, all the while producing a robust, sweet scent. This fragrance (and the blossoms' ample pollen) will attract all your favorite pollinators, like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
The glossy green leaves of the Kay Parris Magnolia have a velvety underside that helps the tree retain moisture and improve its drought tolerance. Not only can it handle drought, but this magnolia variety is also pest and disease resistant!
Add privacy and fragrance to your landscape by ordering your own Kay Parris Magnolia today!

Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant your Kay Parris Magnolia in a location that gets full sun (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day). Plant in well draining soil with at least 10 feet of spacing on either side. Dig a hole approximately 3 times the width and just as deep as the root ball. Place the plant in the hole and backfill the dirt, but be careful not to compact the soil too much.
2. Watering: Water immediately after planting and continue to water frequently (2-3 times a week) until well established, approximately 6 months after placement.
