Strong, Easy Growth Plus Delicious Pears
Grow delicious Kieffer Pears just about anywhere in the country - with our Kieffer Pear Tree, it's easy. These delicious, bright yellow pears are great for eating fresh, canning, in desserts, and for making preserves and honey!Plus, the Kieffer Pear Tree is pest and disease resistant, and adapts to many climates and soils (though it does best in full sun and well-drained soil). And it's easy to grow in your own backyard since it does not require a lot of care and pesticides. Even better? It's known for its hardiness and long lifespan, and tolerates heat and drought very well.
The Kieffer's round, symmetrical shape and shiny green leaves make it an exceptional landscape tree, as well as a heavily-producing fruit tree. The Kieffer is self-pollinating, but like all fruiting trees, gives the best yield when paired with at least one other pear tree.
Best of all, we take great pride in delivering healthy, vigorous trees. We put a lot more time into growing the trees we ship than most other nurseries do. Because of our high standards, it takes quite a while longer for our trees to be ready to market, but you'll be glad we are so picky! Your new trees will arrive ready to go to work in your yard the moment you open the box. So, get your own today - get the Kieffer Pear Tree for your own landscape!

Nice
Nice and big. Good shape. I hope they can handle the Montana winters.
Arrived damaged but it's doing OK
I was nervous when I saw the book arrived damaged. The tree inside was in okay shape, lots of yellow/brown leaves that have fallen since I put it in the ground but it seems to be doing well now. Hopefully I can give an update in the Spring. Charlotte, NC zone 7b

Holes.
All together I must have put 20 trees in the ground this year, that's allot of digging. Don't get me wrong folks I'm no farmer, I have found a form of Zen in the garden that works for me. That and we like fresh fruit, beans, strawberries, melon, turnip, tangerines, peaches, nectarines, figs, avocado, cherries, naval oranges and apricots. Why they will not send grapes to Oregon I have no idea. The pear trees are almost 8ft tall transplanted on arrival until the ground is prepped and deer fenced. Would I recommend this product, absolutely, if one has good soil for outside, go for it. Indoor plants are not so good with me, maybe in the new mud room, it's warm, sunny and out of the wind. Under the gun to find partial shade for the coffee plants, have to build a planter box big enough for both of them, they will need a wind break for sure.
