A Sturdy Shade Tree, Perfect for Most Climates!

This unique tree will not only offer wonderful shade for any home - it’s also strong, reliable, and adaptable! The Kentucky Coffeetree requires very little maintenance, perfect for anyone looking for a visually stunning tree for their yard, park, or even golf course.

At maturity, it can reach heights upwards of 60 to 75 feet, and its resistance to wildlife and pests guarantees it'll be around for a long time. Plus, you won’t have to worry about it affecting your other plant life since its light canopy gives anything growing below it a chance to thrive!

The unique pattern of this tree is like to a snowflake, in that no two trees will be identical - each has a distinct look. And its winter silhouette is a sight to behold, as its branches reach upwards in a lovely crossed display.

What are you waiting for? Order a Kentucky Coffeetree of your own today!

Planting & Care

1. Planting: The Kentucky Coffee can be planted in any soil condition as long as it's in a location that receives full sun. Plant in a hole twice as wide, though just as deep as the root ball. Mulch around the canopy, but not near the trunk. The mulch will help the tree maintain moisture. Plant away from power lines, structures, sidewalks and sewer lines.

2. Watering: This tree can tolerate wet or dry conditions. Be sure to water the tree weekly in its young life to ensure proper growth.

3. Fertilizing: Fertilize as needed with products that promote woody, strong growth rather than excessive foliage growth.

4. Pruning: Prune your tree in late winter or early spring after the worst cold temperatures are no longer a threat. Young trees won't need much pruning the first few years unless the branches become damaged and need trimming.
