Planting & Care
1. Planting: First, select a location with plenty of sunlight – any area 6+ hours of sun is perfect. Make sure the soil is relatively dry and light. It doesn't love heavy, wet soil like clay.
When you’re ready to plant your 'Cat's Pajamas,' dig a hole that’s about 2 times wider than and just as deep as the root ball, place the plant in the hole, backfill the soil, and water it well to settle the roots.
2. Watering: Water about once weekly or more often during the first season. In the following year after the roots are established, leave it alone! This catmint will be able to find its own water in the soil.
3. Pruning: Cut the plant back to the ground during late fall or early spring to encourage new growth.

Love catmint in the garden!
I enjoy having the Catmint in my garden, as does my neighbor's cat! I ordered 2 plants: one of them is doing very well and the other isn't doing well at all. It appears to be recovering a little, with a few small green leaves beginning to appear. I planted them fairly close to each other on the day they were delivered so am a little puzzled by the one not doing too well. Hopefully it will recover!
