Drought Tolerant, Vivid Red Succulent
There’s a new and improved succulent that offers everything you love about yucca plants - but in a smaller size! The Dwarf Red Yucca Stoplights is a compact succulent that maxes out at 2 feet tall and wide. That means you can enjoy the beauty of a yucca, even in tight spaces.
The Dwarf Red Yucca Stoplights has soft, green leaves and vivid red blooms. Its 3-foot long, tubular stalks lead to gorgeous crimson flowers that appear in spring and last throughout summer for a stunning display.
Attracting all your favorite pollinators like butterflies and hummingbirds, this plant is actually resistant to unwanted pests and diseases, so you won't have to worry about pesky critters.
Whether you’re looking to create a mass planting, add some color to a tight space, or bring your potted plant area to life, this yucca is perfect for the job. It’s great for all gardening styles, but would look especially beautiful in coastal, tropical, or desert gardens.
You can’t go wrong with the Dwarf Red Yucca Stoplights. It’s not only a stand out, low maintenance, yucca-like succulent, but it’s also drought tolerant, cold-hardy, and thrives in poor or rich soil.
So, if you’re ready to add a vividly-blooming, small-scale succulent to your outdoor space, get your Dwarf Red Yucca Stoplights today!
Planting & Care
1. Planting: Plant where they can receive full sunlight (between 6-8 hours per day). Locate these plants in full sunlight in any well-drained soil, but sandy soil is ideal. If planted in a container, fill with a well-drained potting media and at least one good drainage hole. Allow at least 2 feet on each side of the plant and 2-3 feet away from sidewalks or driveways.
2. Watering: Water regularly for the first year but not to the point of sogginess. Then, water occasionally especially during periods of hot, dry weather. Be careful not to overwater.
3. Fertilization: You can feed them lightly before new growth appears in spring with a good-quality, general-purpose fertilizer.
